17.4.3.4. Grey Balance

In this final optional stage before the ICC profiling stage, it is possible to create, edit or apply a correction curve. The system will also import Adobe Photoshop CMYK ACV curves and convert to the internal format.

This module allows the user to create colour curves that can then be either be permanently ‘attached’ to existing profile tables as the final correction in the colour workflow or selected in the Client applications as a correction to be applied to the current job.

Additionally the system can be instructed to print the P2P chart from IDEALLIANCE that can be used in their Curve software to create the G7 curve for your profile table. You should export the G7 curve as Adobe Photoshop curve (ACV) that can then be imported back into the profile table and set as the correction curve.
