17.4.1.3. Importing 3rd Party Profiles

 
If you have been provided with printer profiles for your media by the actual media manufacturer or others then you can use the procedure outlines in the previous section to import and use these. The procedure is actually simpler as you do not need to create any ICC profiles and simply need to use the one provided.
 
Please note that it is important to know from the maker of these 3rd party media profiles any special instructions with regards to the settings that must be used including the base media that must be set in the Print Mode section.
