17.4.2. CMYK Contone

 

This profiling path follows the same one as the RGB Contone that was details in the previous section. The main difference being that you must select and print CMYK ICC patches for your profiling software.

 

The printer ICC profile that is then created must be set in the ICC Settings section for Printer Output (CMYK).

 

 

Please note that for cases where you encounter any colour issues or over-inking you could also utilise the ink limiting and linearization procedures to have more control over these. These steps are fully detailed in the next section.
