8.2.1. Carbon

Carbon client utilises an intuitive image browser front-end coupled to pre-configured Printflow widgets to make the work of complex print job creation a breeze.

The user interface is the familiar image browser look and feel with thumbnails of supported image type found in the currently selected folder. By clicking on the required image, you can see much more detailed information about it including EXIF and XMP data as well standard information on the file.

Users can browse to various local and network devices connected to the computer and search and examine the files contained there. Various file operation can be carried out on selected images by right-clicking on them or using the toolbar at the top of the window. For multi-page documents user can quickly browse through the pages and visually inspect them.

At the bottom of the screen, the Printflow window is located where all the currently configured widgets are shown, all queues include the standard Default Printflow and additional ones can be added if required. These Printflows can be thought of as job templates that contain standard and advanced job parameters that are applied to all images 'dropped' on them.
