11.2.1. Internet Activation
If you have an internet connection, then you can select the Internet Activation option to activate your license.
Enter your license number (18 digits) in the License ID entry box. You can either enter it directly or by using the copy & paste from the document containing your license number. Computer ID is automatically derived by the RIP and shown in its corresponding section.
You will now need to fill the rest of the form. All entries with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. Once you have filled all the required fields click on the Activate button to register and activate your license. Please note that any mistakes in the entries including emails not matching would result in the Activate button not being active.
If all information has been entered correctly and the license is valid then you should get a confirmation messages indicating that your license has been activated successfully. Otherwise a failed message will be shown with additional information about the cause of it. These could include, invalid license number, license has already been activated on another device and others. It is also possible that the firewall on your system will not allow the RIP to communicate with the licensing server. The other issue related to the system that might cause an error is that your system clock and date are not correctly set for your region.
