The RIP can process and rip multiple documents simultaneously by using the multi-core processors resources and power. If your computer does not have such processor or you find some stability issues when processing big nest jobs, you could then switch off this behaviour.

 

Almost all modern computers have multi-core and are capable of running many threads concurrently.
